Forgiveness is powerful, but there are certain actions in a relationship that should raise serious red flags. If a man commits any of the following seven acts, it’s worth deeply questioning whether forgiveness is truly the healthiest path forward.
1. Physical Abuse: If a man ever lays his hands on you in anger or violence, that’s a major boundary crossed. Love should never hurt physically. Abuse erodes self-worth and can escalate over time.
2. Cheating Repeatedly: One mistake might be forgivable to some, but repeated infidelity shows a lack of respect and commitment. If he continues to betray your trust, it’s not a mistake it’s a choice.
3. Public Humiliation: If he disrespects or embarrasses you in front of others, that shows a lack of care for your dignity. True love protects your image, not destroys it.
