Intestinal worms are a common health problem, especially in areas with poor sanitation and contaminated food or water. While medical treatment is essential for complete elimination, certain foods can naturally support the body in fighting worms and improving gut health.

1. Papaya Seeds

Papaya seeds contain enzymes and compounds that create an unfriendly environment for intestinal parasites. When crushed and mixed with honey or blended into smoothies, they may help reduce worm activity while supporting digestion.

2. Garlic

Garlic is rich in sulfur compounds with natural antimicrobial properties. Eating cooked or lightly crushed garlic can help weaken parasites and boost the immune system. It also supports overall gut health and reduces harmful bacteria.

3. Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds contain cucurbitacin, a compound believed to interfere with worms’ ability to survive in the intestines. Eating roasted or raw pumpkin seeds regularly can support natural parasite control and provide healthy fats and minerals.

4. Carrots

Carrots are high in fiber, which helps flush toxins and parasites from the digestive system. Their nutrients also strengthen the intestinal lining, making it harder for worms to thrive.

5. Coconut

Fresh coconut and coconut oil have natural antiparasitic properties. Coconut oil, in particular, may help reduce worm growth while improving digestion and energy levels.

6. Pineapple

Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that supports digestion and may help break down parasites. It also strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation in the gut.

Important Note

Although these foods can support natural parasite control, they are not a substitute for medical treatment. If symptoms like persistent stomach pain, weight loss, diarrhea, or fatigue occur, it is important to seek professional medical care.

A balanced diet, clean water, and proper hygiene remain the strongest defense against intestinal worms. Combining healthy foods with good hygiene habits can protect your stomach and improve overall well-being.
