Happening now: Wike, governors, others join PDP crucial meeting [VIDEO]

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr Nyesom Wike, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, former Jigawa state governor, Suleiman Lamido, former governor of Osun State, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola among other party chieftains have started arriving for a meeting slated for Abuja, where the party would be taking a critical decisions against spate of defections and other issues plaguing the main opposition party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lately.
Wike, who arrived at the meeting venue a few minutes ago, drove in in his black G-Wagon, dressed in a black jalabiya.
The party governors’ Forum, it was learnt also invited former governors, Board of Trustees members, and National Working Committee members for the meeting.
Other NWC members who have also arrived are the party acting National Chairman, Amb Umar Damagum, the PDP National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade SAN and National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature
In the same vein, the governors of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke; Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang; Oyo State, Seyi Makinde; and Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri have arrived Bauchi Lodge, venue of the stakeholders meeting.
Other governors are Enugu state governor, Peter Mbah and Zamfara state governor Dauda Lawal, Secretary of the Board of Trustees and former Kaduna state governor, Ahmed Makarfi; former Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson; and former Osun state governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and former Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom.
Others include: former Niger state hovernor, Babangida Muazu, former Bauchi state governor, Adamu Muazu, former Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and former governor of Akwa Ibom, Udom Emmanuel.
Led by its Chairman and Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed, the follow -up meeting according to an insider would, among other things, be used to gain stakeholders’ support for decisions made in Ibadan bordering on the way out of its afe-long crisis.
Specifically, the party is expected to deliberate on the disputed National Secretaryship position, the upcoming National Elective Convention (NEC) slated for this month, and how to address gales of defections staring it in the face.
