1. Insults and Demeaning Comments.
Love should nurture self-esteem, not erode it. A loving man will never resort to name-calling, insults, or belittling remarks. Instead, he’ll offer encouragement and support.
2. Threats or Manipulation.
A loving partner won’t use threats or manipulation to control you. Whether it’s emotional blackmail or ultimatums, these tactics are signs of an unhealthy relationship.
3. Comparisons to Others.
A man who truly loves you won’t compare you unfavorably to others, especially past partners. Instead, he’ll appreciate your unique qualities and work through differences respectfully.
4. Dismissive Language.
Avoiding dismissive phrases like “you’re overreacting” or “it’s not a big deal” is crucial. A loving partner acknowledges your feelings and tries to understand them, even if they don’t share the same perspective.
5. Blames and accusations
