BREAKING: ADC Promises 35m Voters To Topple APC, Tinubu In 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to mobilise at least 35 million voters to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu if he seeks re-election in 2027.
ADC National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu, made the declaration on Wednesday at the ADC Global Summit organised by the party in Abuja.
Nwosu questioned the legitimacy of a presidency secured with fewer than 10 million votes, citing the over 88 million registered voters in Nigeria ahead of the 2023 general election.
He said the ADC is repositioning itself to take on the electoral challenge and reverse the widespread voter apathy that has plagued past elections.
According to him, the party’s strategy includes targeting Nigerians who have abstained from voting due to disillusionment, as well as engaging young people who turned 18 between 2023 and now.
He further revealed: “Civil societies are already organising. They just joined us not more than six months ago but by now, their membership is over five million. They are going to pull out 20 million.
“The 35 million benchmark is just an understatement because of some of the challenges we have in this country. For the first time, the next president of Nigeria will win clearly.”
Nwosu added that the ADC is building a broad coalition with other political parties to defeat the APC in 2027. “We are bringing many political parties together and I can assure you without mincing words, you’re going to see the biggest coalition of patriots, people-driven coalition,” he said.
