BREAKING: Barcelona Wants Three Goalkeepers This Summer

As the summer transfer window approaches, it becomes clear that Barcelona, despite a near-perfect season, needs reinforcements.
One of the Blaugrana’s main concerns could be the goalkeeping situation, with doubt surrounding Wojciech Szczesny’s future.
If Szczesny decides to retire, Barcelona may need to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Barcelona is likely to target three players.
To that purpose, Diario AS reports that Barcelona may target three goalkeepers in the summer transfer season.
It was previously rumored that Barcelona was keeping an eye on several young players as a replacement for Szczesny, and that the club had ruled out buying a new goalkeeper.
However, it appears that Barça is looking for numerous goalkeepers in the market, including Portuguese international Diogo Costa.
The FC Porto player has been a reliable performer over the years, but at €75 million, he is an expensive option for the club.
Another goalkeeper that Barcelona is keeping an eye on is Joan Garcia, who has impressed observers with his performance for Espanyol this season.
Interestingly, Real Madrid is also keeping an eye on Garcia, who apparently has a release clause of under €25 million.
Finally, Barcelona is interested in signing Bart Verbruggen, a Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper who has established himself as the Seagulls’ first choice.
All of the aforementioned goalkeepers are very young and have a high ceiling, making them excellent long-term replacements for ter Stegen.
However, given Barcelona’s financial situation entering the summer transfer window, it seems unlikely the club would be able to make a deal for any of them.
