According to Yunusa, who spoke on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the Tribunal threw out the entire petition from his party, which called for Tinubu to win the poll on February 25, 2023.
The petitions of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, as well as the Labour Party’s (LP), and Peter Obi, its presidential candidate, were all rejected by the Tribunal in a 12-hour marathon verdict on Wednesday.

Yunusa, the Labour Party Presidential Campaign’s spokesman, responded to the ruling by claiming that the Tribunal had destroyed all of the petitions submitted by his party.
He said, “We would have preferred the decision to be fair to all parties involved, but if you examine this specific case in detail, every aspect of the petition was purposefully trashed and was justified by numerous poor omissions.”
