She said, “We were asked in July, 2023, to write to the Chairman of the Kaduna State Teachers Service Board, which we did, but up till now nothing positive has come out. We are tired of the delay, and those responsible for it should fear God and release our money.”
Contacted, the Chairman of the board, Adamu Makadi, assured the teachers that the arrears would be paid soon.
He attributed the problems encountered by some of the teachers to submission of wrong BVNs, as well as account numbers, saying the board and the authorities concerned, including the governor, were doing everything possible to ensure that those affected got paid as soon as possible.
