Midfielder Divine Oliseh has been declared fit to feature in Nigeria’s semi-final clash against South Africa’s Amajita at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Oliseh sustained a concussion during the Flying Eagles’ hard-fought quarter-final victory over Senegal on Monday, raising concerns over his availability. Under standard concussion protocol, he could have been ruled out for several days.
However, after returning to full training with his teammates on Wednesday, the playmaker has been cleared for action and is expected to be available for selection.
Nigeria will face South Africa in the semi-final today (Thursday) at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia. Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. Nigerian time.
