BREAKING: President Tinubu Meets Service Chiefs To Establish New Threats-fighting Methods

President Bola Tinubu on Friday met with Service Chiefs to review the entire security situation in the country and also develop new strategies in fighting emerging threats.
The Chief of Defence staff, General Christopher Musa who spoke on behalf of other service chiefs assured Nigerians that security forces are working round the clock to keep the country safe.
He said new equipment have also been acquired to give the Army more impetus and advantage over the terrorists.

The Chief of defence staff blamed the recent upsurge in incidents of insecurity on a global push by terrorists and jihadists in the Sahel area, which trickled into Nigeria.
He added that the Army has gained more momentum and an edge over the terrorists as a result of adopting new tactics as instructed by the military head and acquiring new weaponry.
General Christopher Danjuma revealed that in order to address all national security challenges, the Army is collaborating closely with state governors.
