Ex-Senate President Saraki Meets with Enugu Governor and Shares His Reasons for the Visit

Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki was in Enugu on Friday to visit the governor of the state, Peter Mbah.

In a post made on X, Saraki said he visited Mbah in line with the move by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to chart a way forward for the party.

Saraki also noted that he visited the Enugu State governor alongside Senator Seriake Dickson and Ibrahim Dankwambo.

As the chairman of the PDP Strategy and Way Forward Committee, Saraki said his team aims to reposition the PDP for the future.

He wrote, “We’re here to have the necessary conversations – frank, focused, and long overdue – as we work to reposition our party for the future it deserves.”
