Recalled that Alhaji Ododo of the All Progressives Congress scored majority votes in the last weekend Governorship election.

The presentation took place at a headquarters of the Commission in Lokoja, was witnessed by a mammoth crowd of supporters, family members and associates.

Speaking shortly after after receiving his certificate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo assured that he would strive for a just and egalitarian Kogi State, pointing out that he would work for a more united state.

The Governor Elect expressed appreciation to the people of the State for the overwhelming support he enjoyed at the polls, described it as a consolidation on the strength and unity of the State.

Alhaji Ododo assured that he will build on the legacies of Gov Yahaya Bello on security, infrastructure, education, promising that agriculture revolution would take the centre stage of his administration.

” My administration would be committed to sustaining the Youth and women empowerment programs of the present administration “.

” My resolve to provide employment for our teeming Youths and ensure that education occupies the front burner of our administration remains irrevocable “.

” My victory at the last weekend election is a victory for all. We will run an all inclusive administration, where everyone, irrespective of tribe, Religion and political affiliation would be carried along.

Alhaji Ododo expressed gratitude to the people of the State for turning out enmass to vote for the APC, assured that, ” I will justify the confidence reposed on me”.

The presentation of the certificate of return was witnessed by Gov. Yahaya Bello, urged the people of the State to join hands with Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo in building a virile Kogi State.

” The election has come and gone and a winner has emerged. I call on the people of the State to work towards the unity and togetherness our administration has achieved “.

Presenting the Certificate, the Kogi State Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Mr. Gabriel Longpet, said the presentation was part of the Commission’s mandate, said Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo having met with the constitutional requirements is bei presented with a certificate of return.
