Insecurity Concerns: Zulum Visits Marte And Plans To Stay For Two Nights.

In response to the recent series of insurgent attacks in some parts of Borno including Marte, Damboa, Gajiram, and Chibok. the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum visited to Marte Local Government Area to assess the situation and provide support to affected communities.

Before Marte, Governor Zulum stopped in Dikwa town to meet with residents of Marte who fled the attacks to sought refuge. He sympathized with the affected population and assured them of his administration’s commitment to restoring peace and stability in the state. He urged the people to remain vigilant and prayerful during these trying times.

Upon arrival in Marte town, the Governor inspected areas recently attacked and destroyed by insurgents.

The Governor is scheduled to spend two nights in Marte for further assessments of the situation and to engage directly with the military. The Governor’s visit will include strategic meetings aimed at enhancing security operations in the area.

Governor Zulum was accompanied by two members House of Representatives, Engr. Bukar Talba and Dr Zainab Gimba as well as current and former chairmen of Marte LGA and other key stakeholders.
