Six die as bus collides with truck in Ogun

According to reports, the accident involved a Mazda bus with registration number EPE 440 YG, carrying 15 passengers.
An eyewitness revealed that the bus was traveling at a very high speed when it collided with a truck making a u-turn on the road.
Ogun Traffic Enforcement Agency Compliance, spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the details of the incident, stating, “Five male adults and one female adult died instantly in the crash, while six others sustained injuries.”
The rescue team, consisting of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Police, and TRACE, promptly intervened, ensuring that the injured victims received medical attention at nearby hospitals.
Akinbiyi further revealed that the bodies of the deceased were deposited at the Idera Morgue in Sagamu and Famobis Hospital in Mowe.
The truck driver reportedly fled the scene as soon as the collision occurred.
