You might experience fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, headaches, and muscle aches. These symptoms are your body’s natural response to the virus.
2. Sudden, Unexplained Weight Loss and Fatigue: If you’re losing weight rapidly without changing your diet or activity level, and feel extremely tired even after rest, it could signal that your immune system is under attack. HIV affects the body’s ability to absorb nutrients and fight infection, leading to chronic fatigue.
3. Skin Rashes and Mouth Sores: People living with HIV often develop rashes that aren’t caused by allergies or normal skin conditions. You may also notice painful mouth sores, thrush (a white coating on the tongue), or frequent infections.
