In order to provide students with transportation to and from school on a daily basis throughout the Kemptville County region, Valley Bus Lines Ltd. is recruiting for school bus drivers. Your vehicle will be inspected on a daily basis, you will drive in a safe manner, you will maintain discipline on board, and you will make multiple stops to pick up and drop off children who are riding your bus.

It doesn’t matter what the weather is like; they are dependent on you to get them to their destination in a secure manner.

It is necessary to have drivers for school buses in the following areas:

South mountain from the mountain
The town of Spencerville
Iroquois Winchester weaponry
The Merrickvilles
The town of Kemptville

Primary tasks include providing transportation to and from school for children of school age.
When crossing the street at the bus stop, make sure that children are safe both when they are getting on and off the bus and when they are crossing the street.
Maintain a level of discipline on the school bus ride.
The necessary reports, such as daily logs, timesheets, and so on, should be kept up to date.
Send in any deficiencies you find.
It is imperative that the vehicle undergoes the daily inspection before it is allowed to leave the yard each morning.
Always remember to sweep and clean the vehicle.
At the end of the day, be sure you have enough gasoline!

Job Type: Twenty-hour, part-time work

**Pay: twenty dollars per hour
*Monday through Friday is the schedule.
Qualities that are required include shown independence and resourcefulness.

* You must not have any criminal records that are relevant to the position.
Have a driving record that is free of any points for delinquency.
You have a solid understanding of the region.
It is the English language that is spoken and written.
At least 21 years old, in possession of a valid G Class Licence or an equivalent, and capable of obtaining a valid Commercial Driver’s Class B Licence through our training program are all requirements for this position.
Residency in Ontario is required.
