For a two-month contract in Ontario, amentum is looking for a competent Carpenter to assist with a building project.

Work Duties:

In charge of making sure everyone stays safe on the job and that safety is always the first concern.
Follow all objectives and regulations related to quality assurance and environmental health and safety.

Use a variety of carpenter’s hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments to plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal directions.
Perform routine shop calculations involving job dimensions.
Choose the tools and supplies you’ll need for the job.

Plan and set up the STC door frames, hardware, and panels
Plan and set up the hardware and door to the vault.

Put in acoustic ceiling systems, carpet, and paint for the inside.
Assemble drywall and metal hat channel, then finish the drywall if necessary.

Help with material handling, housekeeping, and other ad hoc tasks that may be necessary to help the project team reach its overarching objectives.
Carries out additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Needed Minimums:

Completed secondary education
four years of experience in the field
You need to be a citizen of the United States to do this job.
