Most people only pray when they have something they need. They pray whenever they face a problem. Because of this, God doesn’t answer the prayers of a lot of followers. It is important to pray even when things are going well. God will give you things you didn’t even think to ask for if you pray, even when you don’t need them.
2. Ignoring the Bible
Some people get answers to their prayers because they know a lot about the Bible. When you pray, quote Scripture. The written words of God are taken very seriously.
3. Not eating anything
All Christians are expected to fast. Jesus told his disciples to pray and fast after they failed to get a demon out of a child. When a person fasts, the body gives way to the spirit. Keeping up a regular fast will help clear the air.
4. Sin
In the first and second lines of Isaiah 59, God says, “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not short so that it can’t save, nor is his ear so big that it can’t hear.” But your sins have put distance between you and your God, and your wrongdoings have kept you from seeing his face, so he won’t listen to you.
Most of the time, when we do a lot of wrong, we pray to God for help. Before you pray to God, you should always start by asking him to forgive you.
5. Ignoring a Friend
When there are at least two or three people there in his name, he is there. Group praying works well. One person can chase after a thousand people, but it takes two people to chase after 10,000 people. Answers can be found by praying together.
