African wild canine

Sub-Saharan Africa is the native habitat of the dog known as the African hunting dog. They stand on long, slender legs, have four huge toes on their front foot, and have rounded ears. This breed of dog could never be taught as a pet.

Okapi

This magnificent animal is also referred to as the zebra giraffe, the forest giraffe, and the Congolese giraffe. Despite its striped resemblance to zebras, the giraffe is really its closest living relative. This elusive creature has multipurpose stripes and a tongue long enough to reach and clean its ears.

The Bigger Kudu

Africa is home to one of the largest jumps and fastest animals in the world. This is just one of the many morphological differences between the sexes; males have horns while females do not. These animals are simply southern and eastern African forest antelopes. Despite their extensive range, poaching, deforestation, and habitat destruction have resulted in a low population density.

Gerenuk

This animal is renowned in Somalia for its long neck and thorny skull. They have a little brain in comparison to the rest of their body, but their eyes and hearing are immense. Only males have horns and a thick neck, and they eat young plants, fruits, and flowers.

Colobus Guereza

These interesting monkeys spend the vast majority of their time in the trees, making sightings on the ground quite uncommon. West and east Africa, especially Kenya, Cameroon, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Uganda, are the most important markets for these birds.

Rough-legged buzzard

This crane, whose head makes it simple to distinguish it from other species, inhabits both eastern and southern Africa. The Ugandan national bird has a lifespan of 20–40 years and achieves sexual maturity at the age of three.

Galago

They have wide, goofy eyes, human-like hands and feet, and when in danger, they cry like infants. Only found in sub-Saharan Africa, they have a life expectancy of 16 years. They eat fruits, insects, tree sap, and even small animals.
