Start your day with a glass of water right after waking up. This helps rehydrate your body after hours of sleep and jumpstarts your metabolism.
Throughout the day, aim to drink water consistently a glass before each meal and a few more in between to maintain hydration without overwhelming your bladder.
However, reduce your water intake about 2 to 3 hours before bedtime. This gives your kidneys enough time to process fluids, minimizing the urge to wake up during the night to urinate. Avoid caffeine and alcohol late in the day as they act as diuretics, increasing urine production.
Also, sipping water rather than gulping large amounts at once helps your body absorb it more efficiently.
