Avoid Showering at These Times, No Matter How Dirty You Are

Taking a shower is one of the simplest ways to refresh, relax, and maintain hygiene. After a long day or a sweaty afternoon, the urge to jump into the shower feels almost irresistible.....CONTINUE READING THE FULL STORIES HERE

But believe it or not, there are certain times when showering—no matter how dirty or tired you feel—can actually do more harm than good. Yes, showering at the wrong time can negatively affect your health, especially your heart, skin, and immune system. So before you turn on that tap, take a moment to consider when you’re about to shower.

1. Right After a Heavy Meal

When you eat, your body focuses blood flow around your stomach to help with digestion. If you shower immediately after eating, especially with hot water, your body diverts that blood flow toward your skin. This can interfere with digestion, cause stomach discomfort, and even lead to bloating or cramps. Give your body at least 30 to 45 minutes after a meal before heading into the shower.

2. When You’re Extremely Tired or Feeling Weak

After a long day when you’re feeling lightheaded or overly exhausted, hopping into a shower—especially a cold one—can shock your system. For someone with low blood pressure or heart conditions, this sudden temperature shift could trigger dizziness or even fainting. Rest first, drink some water, then shower once your body feels more stable.

3. Immediately After a Workout (If You’re Dripping in Sweat)

It might feel good to cool off instantly, but your body is still trying to regulate its temperature and heart rate after intense exercise. Jumping into a cold or hot shower immediately can mess with that balance. Wait at least 15–20 minutes, let your body cool down naturally, and then bathe.

4. Late at Night with Cold Water

Taking cold showers at night, especially in cold seasons, can disturb your sleep. While cold showers have benefits, using them late at night can cause your body to become alert rather than relaxed, making it harder to fall asleep. Opt for a warm shower instead if you’re bathing before bed.

Final Thought:

Showering is essential—but timing matters. Listening to your body and understanding when it’s safe and healthy to shower can protect you from unwanted health issues. Cleanliness is important, but being wise about your routines is even more powerful. After all, your health should always come before your habits.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
