The devil may be more powerful than us, but he still has three things he is afraid of. Just what are these things, exactly? Just what are these things, exactly? The Bible says that if we put up barriers, the devil would have to go. There are three main requirements for this to happen:
1. Living a good and holy life
If you’re living a sinless life, Satan has no reason to bother you. The Devil is drawn to sinners because it is the primary tool he employs in his war against humanity. Everyone who is good and virtuous strikes fear into the heart of Satan.
The devil’s worst nightmare is a world filled with good people. You can cast judgment on Satan if you refrain from evil and always do what is right.
2. Petitions.
Humans can talk to God through praying to him. In addition, it can be used as a weapon against Satan. Invoking or praying with the names of God or Jesus causes the devil to cower in terror.
