The vagina cleans itself through natural discharge, which helps remove bacteria and dead cells. Using scented soaps, sprays, or douches disrupts this balance, leading to irritation or infection.

2. A Mild, Musky Smell Is Normal

Every woman’s vaginal scent is unique. A mild, musky, or slightly acidic odor is completely normal due to the presence of healthy bacteria (lactobacilli) that maintain the correct pH level.
