That is why starting the morning with prayer can help set your heart in the right direction.

The Bible encourages us to trust God, seek His guidance, depend on His strength, and commit the work of our hands to Him.

Here are four powerful things to ask God for every morning.

1. Ask God to Guide You Throughout the Day

Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5–6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

You may have plans for the day, but you cannot see everything that lies ahead.
